ENTRUSTED project partners attended the first project meeting to discuss its status, and to agree on organisational issues that need to be addressed in the coming months. The Kick-off meeting, which took place on 15 September 2020, was held on-line due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting was moderated by the project coordinator – the European GNSS Agency, and brought together all partners and representatives of the European Commission (DG DEFIS) and the Research Executive Agency (REA). The consortium also invited representatives from Malta and EUROPOL to attend the project meeting, who had expressed their interest in coming onboard. Their official involvement in the ENTRUSTED project will be acknowledged in an amendment to the Grant Agreement.
Leaders of all work packages (WP) presented specific objectives of their WP, main activities, expected outputs and deadlines. Project partners had an opportunity to discuss assumptions, constraints and associated risk in relation to planned methodologies and some project activities.
The first project meeting did not allow our team members to meet face-to-face, and to get to know each other. Yet, we have derived a common understanding of ENTRUSTED objectives and committed to a close cooperation. We are motivated to achieve project results!
