Establishing the Network of governmental Users (NoU) of secure SatCom services for effective knowledge sharing and exchange of information between Member States, EU institutions and agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
Deriving a common understanding of governmental user needs for secure SatCom systems, enabling the development of a consolidated and prioritised set of user requirements for EU GOVSATCOM .
Elaborating a synergies map, serving the uptake of secure governmental SatCom solutions among users from various communities, backgrounds and Member States, based on different capabilities and requirements.
Identifying and assessing SatCom user technologies with the aim to elaborate a long-term roadmap and coordination plan for research and innovation activities (R&I roadmap).
Active involvement of EU GOVSATCOM users is required for the identification of user needs and use cases, which will be subsequently translated into operational requirements for EU GOVSATCOM services.
Providers of secure SatCom services and user technologies, research institutes and R&D experts will be consulted for the identification of available and emerging technological solutions, standards and protocols.
ENTRUSTED will provide the user perspective to EU GOVSATCOM and the implementing regulations.
ENTRUSTED will aim at raising general awareness on SatCom, and explain the importance of providing administration in the EU and its Member States with access to guaranteed, secure and reliable connectivity.
